Poor lil Abigail! :(

Awwww! I was cleaning out the freezer this afternoon and Abby was running around in the kitchen and just as she came over and looked up to see what I was doing, a frozen baggie of stew meat slid out of the freezer right into her face!!! AHH!!! It caught right beneath her eye and there's a little welt there now! My poor little stinker pie, I felt so terrible that, after I hugged and shh'd her, I grabbed the candy corn and gave her some! Isn't that bad?! I give my children candy when they get hurt! Hahah! It immediately calmed her down, so much so, that I was able to get a little bit of ice on it, so the swelling would go down some. Ugh, talk about feeling like a bad mommy, *sniff sniff*. Emma's all concerned, she usually is about BIG stuff, but not about like, oh... cleaning her room. ARGH! I guess what is big to me, isn't big to her! Hmm, so we've just hung out today, it's just gorgeous out and the girls spent the early afternoon outside in the backyard playing. It's scary out there though, so it's usually not for long. There's tree branches everywhere and Abby tends to wander over to the neighbors where the fallen tree branches are MUCH worse when she gets bored. There also another thing... and odd thing, the wasps. They wake up when it gets warm outside, and they are EVERYWHERE. I'm getting tired of them and fast. I am thinking about perhaps wasp traps. I don't like inhumane things like traps and whatnot, but there is a wasp nest about every five feet in our backyard. Seriously!! The other day Abby went out to play and the wasps had just woken up and were swarming about, and I noticed she had one crawling on her sweater, so without freaking out the kids, I just grabbed a towel and scooped it off. Then about 5 minutes later, we were going out to the car to leave for the store, and Jeremy shouts at me after putting her in her seat "There was another one on her!" and it was crawling off on the ground. Ugh. Those freakin' things. They wake in the sun and just start flying into the window and glass back door. It's insane, they are just too much! Anyway, enough wasp ranting and raving. I just looked out the window and it appears that the elderly neighbor lady has an equally if not elderly....er man friend over to browse at the fallen and dangling branches. I sure wish she would do something about them, it's quite the eyesore- that along w/ the wasps as thick as theives out there. But the wasps aren't her problem, obviously!
The day seems to be crawling right along, and it isn't helping that I'm rather nauseated feeling. Just an upset stomach I acquired after eating Pizza Hut last night, but Emma HAD to have pizza yanno. @@-silly girl. I just feel BLAH and haven't been able to shake it all day. Ho hum, so that is my life. Jeremy will be home tomorrow night sometime, which will be nice. :) I miss him a bit this weekend!
OMGosh! I have to mention, that the elderly...er fellow out the back window, just wandered into our yard, perusing the branch that is hanging directly above the girls' playhouse and he kicked a big ball out of the way and almost fell! I guess that isn't very funny, he could like, break a hip or something, but he staggered a bit and regained his balance. Sadly, my hopes in him removing the wreckage is dwindling! *sigh* Anyway, here's some parting pictures of my poor Abigail and of Emma's favorite past time- doodling in my note book.
