Taking a break...

I thought I would take a break from doing the website thing, I've done like 10+ pages today, so my eyeballs are spinnin' in my head a little bit! Thought I would blog for a few while my left overs for lunch heat up.

So, last night was our first Girl Scouts meeting. It seems like it will be alright. A bit involved, but Emma seems to like it. I think the socialization will be good for her. Last night we just did the 'technical' stuff, like signed papers, got the list of stuff we have to purchase, and information on our first sale, which is a nut & magazine sale. I think I might buy me some nuts, LOL. Other than that, on Monday, I think we will go to the Girl Scouts store (never knew there was such a thing!) and pick up the required garb etc etc. So we were there for a bit last night, and when we got home, it was bath and bed time. Then, it was mommy and daddy time, on the couch to watch Heroes and Life on the DVR. Ahh- relaxation time! LOL!

I thought I would do an ABOUT US page for Jeremy and I, kind of like a chronilogical outline of when we met, got married, had the girls, etc etc. I might work on that today, but I think I will have to wait until tonight because I'm not very good w/ dates, hehe! Jeremy remembers just about everything, so he's my go to guy for dates and whatnot. I guess it will be 'in the works', so to say. Hmm, other than that, I've just been super busy w/ the website today. I'm probably more than half way done and will be so happy when I'm all the way done. Oh wow, it's been time consuming and annoying, but a blessing in disguise! I love having my own site. Oh! Earlier today I was sitting at my computer, per usual, and I'd just let Abby out back to play, and from where I sit, I can see directly out the window to where she was playing, and I was working on a page, and I heard a really loud sound, like wooden sounding, and I looked up and Abby's flat on her back at the entrance to the playhouse, and she's wailing in pain. POOR STINKER! OMG! I jumped out of my seat and ran outside through the yard and scooped her up to bring her in the house. I sat her on the kitchen counter after a few shh's and a few minutes of just holding her and rocking her, and her finger was owied a bit, kind like a blood blister on one of her fingers, and I thought that was it, but then I noticed her HEAD! Oh my gosh, her forhead had a huge goose egg on it, and I'm just wondering what the heck happened? I wonder if she was running through the enterance of the playhouse and didn't quite make it? or something? Hit her head on the something, or other?! I have no idea, but I put ice on her head and it wasn't bothering her as much as her finger, which she wouldn't even let me go near, she was in a lot of pain. Poor girl! I distracted her w/ jelly belly's while I put a bit of ice on her forehead and gave the rest of her body the once over. Awwww. So that was my morning! Whew! Now, she's napping, I hope she wakes up feeling a bit better, the poor booger butt! Alright. Well, my lunch is calling me, so I better go get my grub on, so I can get back on here and work on a few more pages before calling it quits for the day. Emma's got early release on Wed's, so I have to pick her up at the bus stop at 2:15pm today. Until next time!
