Hi all! Well, we're are in the middle of our "first snow" of the year and we are getting what my husband would call "a good pounding". LMBO! ;) Anyway, so on Tennies Tuesday (PE day for Emma in Kindergarten) Emma explained to me that her teacher was sneezing and coughing and that Mr. Weather Crab (a crab hand puppet that her teacher uses to express the weather of the day- Emma's his #1 fan, I'm pretty sure!) had a cold too. So, then on Wednesday, we were experiencing a bit of a runny nose, and by today both Emma and myself are full blown "sick". Le sigh. Ah well, we're trying to make the best of it, being cooped up in the 'sick house' with tons of snow going on! For dinner tonight we had my fave- taco salad, and I'm making Blondies for desert. What's a blondie, you ask? Well they have this amazing desert at Applebee's, it's a walnut and white chocolate blondie (which is a brownie, minus the dark chocolate) w/ this amazing maple walnut drizzle over the top, oh w/ vanilla ice cream too! LOL! So I found this recipe online and am making it! Mmmm, the blondie is baking now and it's lovely smelling already! The drizzle/sauce is quite tasty as well! :D I will have to let you all know how it turns out! Perhaps I will take some photos! I love reading blogs that photograph their food endevours, I'm a total dork like that. Anyway, I have some parting pictures for you all- enjoy!
