Howdy all! LOL! Well, since I've got a brand spankin' new website all to myself (www.simplythebryans.com), I thought I should do up a blog for those every so often updates that don't really require pictures! Well, there will be pictures posted here, I'm sure- I just love pictures, but mostly a lot of reading! I will try and remind myself to blog frequently, and get Jeremy into gear to post as well. I told him I'm setting up a blog for our family website, and he said "I don't know how to... blog." Hahah! I'm going to give him a crash course in bloggin' tonight when he gets off work, you better believe it! Pretty soon he'll be bloggin' from work! LOL!
So, what's the blog buzz today? Not too much, right now I just got out of the shower, and Abby's napping. Emma's in school until 3 pm. She's doing so amazingly well in kindergaten! It was pretty rocky at first, but we adjusted and got through it and actually today's the very first time she's 'complained' about school. This morning I went in to wake her at 7:10 am, and she sat up, groggy and said "Man, I sure can't wait until it's Saturday and Sunday... I just want to sleep." LOL! Isn't that sweet? She's getting the drift! I prayed for weekends when I was in school, hehe! But over all, she is excited to go, and doing very well on her progress reports (actually above average... Jeremy would say that is because of his gene's) and I couldn't be happier! I was nervous when she first started school, I honestly didn't know what to expect, she's my first child and she didn't attend preschool nor has she ever been in any form of 'daycare', so it did take an adjustment period of a week or so to get into the groove. And here we are groovin' away! Actually, tonight we start Girl Scouts! The first week or so of school Emma brought home a Girl Scouts flyer for kiddo's that were interested in signing up and so I explained to her what it was about and she was (overly) enthusiastic. There will be some girls from her school and class, so she will feel super comfy, I am sure! And I will attend meetings with her as well, but kinda hang in the background so she can have a sense of independance, which will be nice. She will be a Daisy Scout, and I'm sure after tonight's meeting (they determine which style of uniform that we need to purchase) there will be a lot of fun pictures! Well, I haven't worked on the website today, which is shocking, I usually have updated a few of the pages by now, trudging along through the whole thing- oy! It's going to take a miracle for me to get through it all. I guess I am averaging 3 pages a day... hopefully I will have it all transfered over to our host by Oct 31st- doomsday for AOL Hometown (where I have been hosting my family related pages for about 5 years now!)- hehe. Wish me luck! Hmmm, I think I will go dive into a tub of artichoke jalepeno dip and some crackers before having to scurry to the bus stop to pick up Emma. Hope you all enjoy this little personal family blogging endevour. You'll be hearing from Jeremy later tonight! :)
