Weekend recap....

Hello, hello! So... it's Monday. Blech! No, not really, I'm so super excited that it's Monday! hehe! Have I ever mentioned how incredibly amazing my husband is? Well, he is. And he continues to be my Superman always! Anyway, so as I mentioned in a previous post, my washer has died. And I spent a wretched 4 hours at the laundry mat Saturday with two children who're hopped up on candy (it kept them happy, so whatever). While I was watching the washer spin and listening to an older fellow that I feared wasn't "all there" tell me how much he loved his grand daughter (who is Emma's age), Jeremy was busting his butt doing a side job to pay for my washer and dryer combo that is being delivered THIS AFTERNOON! I called them bright and early this morning, and the guy told me 'sometime this afternoon', so I guess that is better than 'not until Thursday'. LOL! So I'm pleased as punch, and asked him, since he was picking up the dead washer and taking our perfectly fine working dryer, if I could get a few bucks off the price and he grumbled a bit (while I felt silly for asking) and so he took off 20 bucks, which is better than nothin'!
So here I am, sitting by waiting for his call that I asked him to make before he was on his way to deliver. Though it's no where near "later this afternoon", I'm still looking forward to it! I just hope that it fits. It looked a lot bigger than the one we have now, and it's a Maytag, which I've heard is a superior brand. LOL! So ya, that is my washer/dryer saga! Woot, it's nearly at an end, and boy will I ever be happy when it does end!

I sent Emma to school today sick. I know, I know. What a terrible mother I am. Well, last week she was a lil sick, and for some reason (might have been that she was sharing a drink with Abby last night?! hmmm) this morning she's got a terrible cough (SAME cough that Abby's got, very wet and productive) and nearly gagged while she was coughing this morning. I feel badly for sending her to school in such a state, but really, everyone around here is sick. It's just that time of year, I think. Jeremy and I don't really get too sick when the girls are, which is pretty frequent, now that Emma goes to school! LOL! But Abby has a terrible time sleeping, she coughs a lot, even on cough medicine and all the other steps that should be taken when a child is sick with a cold. Hmm, so ya. We have a pretty busy week, tonight we have parent/teacher conference at Emma's school and my SIL is coming to watch the girls for an hour or so while Jer and I pop over to Em's school and have a lil chit chat w/ her teacher. I'm looking forward to it! :) Then tomorrow is early out at noon and Friday, me and Abby get to go and have lunch w/ Emma, it is going to be a huge Thanksgiving spread, which I'm looking forward to, to perhaps visit w/ some other moms and see Emma! :) Hmm, so ya. I guess I don't have much else to ramble about, my eye balls are spinning out of my head and I feel like I'm on crack. I really shouldn't drink my ONE cup of coffee in the morning on an empty stomach. I feel ill! BLECH! I better go munch on something before I start to feel any worse... so over and out!
