Hi everyone! I just got a call not too long ago from my mom who lives in Washington. Her kitty of like sheesh, how long has it been? ... of like 18 or so years is passing away. :( I just recently went through this myself, with my kitty, Mouse, who was with me for about 12 or 13 years. He had a tumor, and it was very quick and came as a huge shock! Anyways, I know the pain she's going through. I know her hurt and her suffering. I'm asking if anyone's who's interested, if you could please say a little prayer or offer positive thoughts for her in her time of need- I would be grateful and indebted. I know she reads this blog, so I have to say: I love you mom!! *sigh* That is some awful sadness, I sure know that. I just wish that I could be with her right now. Hmph.
On a happier note, this month in Emma's class, they are studying the gingerbread man! They were asked to bring home and cut out a big gingerbread man shape and decorate it in a "disguise" so that no one would eat it! LOL! How inventive, huh? Well last night, Emma and I sat at the kitchen table and disguised her gingerbread GIRL! It ended up in a Supergirl outfit, LOL! I guess someone else in her class did a Wonderwoman one, so that is pretty fitting! heheh!!! We traced the shapes and cut them out and glued them on. She even has a Kryptonian crystal and a bracelet with Kryptonian symbols on it in glitter (that was my idea, hahah!)... We couldn't do much handling of the gingerbread girl last night as the glue and glitter and stuff was drying. But this morning before stuffing the cut out into her backpack, Emma got a few pictures taken with it! :D

A little sad.... & Gingerbread Supergirl
Daddy made the cape for it & printed out the Supergirl Logo! :) And Emma created the crystal in her "hand".
Hey Emma, that is *too* much cheese for this early in the morning! LMBO! :)
Anyway, that's all I got for this post. Here is an interesting parting quote that I found while browsing today... enjoy.
“People are afraid of themselves, of their own reality; their feelings most of all. People talk about how great love is, but that's bullshit. Love hurts. Feelings are disturbing. People are taught that pain is evil and dangerous. How can they deal with love if they're afraid to feel? Pain is meant to wake us up. People try to hide their pain. But they're wrong. Pain is something to carry, like a radio. You feel your strength in the experience of pain. It's all in how you carry it. That's what matters. Pain is a feeling. Your feelings are a part of you. Your own reality. If you feel ashamed of them, and hide them, you're letting society destroy your reality. You should stand up for your right to feel your pain.”
