Hi fellow readers! :) Hope you're all having a good Wednesday. Things here are as they ever are, just chuggin' along! Where to start? Nothing too exciting, so feel free to skip down to the pictures! :)
Monday I was concerned w/ Emma's cough and kept her home from school, and took her to a dr's appt later that day. Other than being rushed at the office (they were really behind and were closed by the time we left), the dr said she's fine and to keep an eye on her, if she develops a fever or difficulty breathing, bring her back in. Hmph. So, her cough is getting a bit better, in the morning before school she has a good few minutes of coughing and is over it. I can't say what she does all day at school, hopefully she doesn't cough all over everyone. LOL. She came home yesterday from school seemingly well, so I felt fine sending her today. I can't wait until this cold is gone completely, it's kicked everyone's butt here in the house for weeks on end! I'm getting over the cold slowly but surely and don't really take any cold meds until bed time. Hmm, what else? I called the vet to fill Nemo's heart medication last night because his behavior is worrying me. He's got rear leg weakness, and while talking on the phone w/ the vet to reiterate the dosage once we got back from the pharmacy, she said he "living on borrowed time" and I should start thinking out "when I wanted to say goodbye" to him. Sheesh. Talk about harshing my mellow. She burst my bubble pretty darn quick. But never the less, I'm going to try out the meds and see how they work for him. I took him off the other meds he was on, for fluid retention (heart disease causes fluid build up around the heart, lungs and in the abdomen) because it was dehydrating him. So, here's to hoping. His appetite was pretty good last night before bed, and he's active enough to jump off and onto our bed in the bedroom, which is quite high, so that is kind of what I base his health on. LOL. He wouldn't be moving about if he wasn't feeling up to it. Which he wasn't all day yesterday, he usually comes down in the late morning for a bit to eat and to socialize a little, and he didn't, so I knew he wasn't feeling well, so I called the vet's office to get the Rx filled.
So yesterday, when I checked the mail, I found a present in it!! A friend of mine from a mommy loop I am in for Abby's aged kiddo's does a bit of sewing and made Emma and Abby two terribly adorable smock style dress type tops. They are pretty stinkin' cute and something I wouldn't gravitate towards, but I really do like them a lot! Here are some photo's that I made the girls suffer through after ripping open the package and dressing them up! LOL!

Hello :)
There's Emma's, she got My Little Ponies on it, and an embroidered pony on the front...
There's Abby picking her nose, her name is embroidered across the front of hers...
Alrighty, well I think that's all the news for now... can't much think of anything else. We're just going to hang out here and try and get over these colds! Take Care! :)
